In this thread I would like to galvanise our efforts into a more organised and streamlined Orchestra.
This is where I advertise permanent roles for player characters and then when we begin to assemble who is playing what I will post a diagram showing where on the stage you all belong.
Yes we are back to sections! Hurrah.
So we have four groups of instrument in the EPO. Because of the nature of some of the instruments they may fall into multiple roles but generally I like to keep them as follows:
Percussion:
Drums
Cowbell
Moor Cowbell
Strings:
All Lutes
All Harps
Theorbo
Winds:
Flutes
Clarinets
Brass:
Horns
Bagpipes
Pibgorns
I am going to offer 24 positions. Obviously the 1st of each instrument will get to play more often, 3rds maybe less so-
But as in real orchestra's when there is no part the player will still follow the score, so we will host an orchestra who when partless will airplay. I would recommend we fill the more frequent roles first and fill the other positions with alts.
